In der Vergangenheit war Erik Bosgraaf Mitglied einer Rockband und spielte Oboe. Heute gilt der Niederländer als einer der vielseitigsten jungen Flötisten. Bosgraaf widmete sich als Musikwissenschaftler dem niederländischen Lied des 18. Jahrhunderts, experimentierte mit Neuen Medien und erhielt bedeutende Preise. In der Kölner Philharmonie entführt Bosgraaf in die faszinierende Welt der Flötenmusik des 17. Jahrhunderts und gibt einen Ausblick auf zeitgenössische Kompositionen für sein Instrument.
